Cleveland Outpatient Rehabilitation We provide outpatient physical, occupational, and speech-language pathology services at CAH.

Cleveland Area Hospital is pleased to offer comprehensive evaluation and treatment of physical impairments and dysfunction. We offer a fully equipped outpatient center with licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists offering individualized programs with a goal of improving function and minimizing or eliminating pain. We offer treatment for post surgical rehab, balance disturbances, sports injuries, work injuries, chronic pain, developmental delays, Parkinson's, Amputations, post stroke, and multiple sclerosis.

Congratulations to Alva on graduating from speech therapy! 🌟

During her time in therapy, Alva worked hard to improve her swallowing function (dysphagia) and increase her diet tolerance while learning effective compensatory strategies for safe and comfortable eating. 🍽️💧

Her determination and positive attitude have truly paid off—she’s made incredible progress and continues to use her strategies daily to maintain her success!

Charles inspired us all! He showed grit, determination, and s***k as he tackled obstacles that were limiting his mobility! Through hard work and perseverance, he made tremendous progress with balance and walking endurance.

Meet Mark! He recently graduated from speech therapy after working hard to strengthen his voice and breathing! Throughout his sessions, Mark focused on increasing his vocal loudness, clarity, and breath support—and he made incredible progress!

He’s continuing to use The Breather® tool at home to maintain his results and keep his voice strong and steady in everyday conversations. 🗣️

We’re so proud of the dedication, positivity, and consistency he showed throughout his therapy journey! 🤗👏🏼

📚💡Education Wednesday🤓📝

In Occupational Therapy, we use playful, hands-on activities to help kids explore new foods! Today we mixed green food coloring into white yogurt — a fun “food science” experiment to build comfort with new colors, textures, and smells. 🥣🎨

This approach helps children:
✅ Build confidence with unfamiliar foods
✅ Improve sensory tolerance
✅ Develop fine motor & self-feeding skills
