FARE | Food Access Raises Everyone is offering Rooted in Community grants to resident-led teams in the communities of Brooklyn Centre and Clark-Fulton who want to create and expand access points for fresh, healthy, quality, affordable food in their neighborhoods. These grants aim to provide funding for community-led and youth-led groups to develop and try new and innovative models that expand access to healthy foods in their neighborhoods and build community connections.
Eligible projects include produce stands, farm stands, farmer’s markets, produce pop-ups, farm stops, school gardens, youth gardening, cooking and food programs, afterschool programs, community gardens, farm-to-school projects, and other creative models that connect people to healthy food.
Groups may select the level of funding needed based on your project needs with a maximum award amount of $3,500 for community-led projects and $1,000 for youth-led projects.
