New Year, New ways to support you!

Trio Counseling is thrilled to announce the addition of Emily Burroughs to our team!

Emily is a Cleveland native and a mom of 2. She has been in the nursing field for 27 years and working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practicioner for the last 5 years.

Emily will be available to provide medication evaluations and medication monitoring for mental health medication.

*Currently we will be accepting self pay for medication services.*

Four years ago, three therapist stepped out in faith and opened Trio Counseling. We are so grateful for the opportunities we have had to go out into our communities to spread mental health awareness and break the stigma surrounding seeking mental health services. Most of all, we are incredibly thankful for the ones we have had the privilege to sit with over these last four years. We can’t wait to see what 2026 holds for us!

Trio Counseling will be collecting shelf stable milk in support of CCHS and CCMS Blessing boxes! Ann Marie and a group of volunteers are wanting to provide at least 50 blessing boxes to our local students! Please help us, help them! Going out into our community and speaking with others about mental health is a huge passion of mine. When Delta State University reached out for me to come speak about grief, I immediately said yes. Grief is something we all experience in our own unique way. There are times, the waves of grief can feel like a storm you are struggling to get out of. You do not have to face the storm alone. You are important. You matter.

September is Su***de Awareness Month. This is a time to share information on su***de, spread awareness surrounding an urgent mental health related issue and provide support for anyone who may have lost a love one to su***de or someone who might be experiencing suicidal thoughts.
