Love was truly in the air at Avail! 💝

As part of our Share the Love Project, our wonderful residents spent time putting together Valentine goody bags filled with sweet surprises and thoughtful touches for the students at Valley View Elementary.

Moments like these remind us how special intergenerational connections are — spreading kindness, laughter, and love across generations. Our residents poured their hearts into every single bag, and it was a beautiful way to celebrate the season of love.

We had the SWEETEST Valentine Social at Avail! ❤️

A huge thank you to Lauryn O’Boyle with Hearth Hospice for supplying all the fabulous photo ops that made the day extra special. Our ladies had the BEST time posing for glamorous pictures — and we even convinced a few of our gentlemen to join in the fun!

There was so much laughter, so many smiles, and the kind of moments that truly become treasured memories. That’s what it’s all about.

And we cannot forget to thank our amazing Kitchen Director for creating the most beautiful (and delicious!) charcuterie boards an Activity Director could ever ask for. They were almost too pretty to eat… almost!

Making memories and laughing together — the very best combination.

We are feeling so grateful today!

A HUGE thank you to Cornerstone Caregiving, especially Lindsey McKaig, for hosting and beautifully setting up a flower bar for our flower arranging activity! 🌸🌷🌼

Our residents absolutely loved picking out their blooms, creating their own arrangements, and spending time together in such a joyful, creative space. It was truly a huge hit!

The smiles, the laughter, and the beautiful bouquets say it all. 💕 Thank you for pouring so much care and kindness into our Avail family.

**Did you know?** Since opening our doors, Avail Senior Living has been dedicated to feeding the homeless on the first Monday of every month for over four years! This February, we’re excited to announce our “Share the Love” initiative across Cleveland, TN.

This month not only did we provide the meal, but directors Christy Spurgeon, Jennifer Turner and Carrie Villines volunteered to serve the meal. It was a truly heartwarming experience to spread kindness and love within our community. ❤️

✨ A cozy Chattanooga Christmas outing for our Avail family! ✨
We explored the beautiful interior of the The Read House Hotel, then warmed up with hot chocolate at Starbucks ☕️. From there, we headed to the Chattanooga Choo Choo to admire the giant Christmas tree 🎄—and of course, no trip is complete without stopping in a little shop to grab classic MoonPie treats!

🍕 Cooking Demo with Liz: Pizza Puffs Edition! 🍕

Our Kitchen Director Liz fired up a delicious cooking demo, and it was a huge hit! Residents watched as she showed us how to make pizza puffs—crispy on the outside, warm and cheesy on the inside, and totally customizable.

We sampled:
✨ Chicken Pesto Bites
✨ Supreme Bites
✨ Classic Pepperoni
✨ And lots of other tasty combinations!

Between the smells, the samples, and Liz’s expert tips, this demo was equal parts educational and delicious. We love learning new recipes that spark conversation, creativity, and a few happy taste buds!

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest was a sweet success!

Our residents had the best time getting creative with icing, candy, and lots of holiday cheer. From classic designs to over-the-top candy creations, every house was made with love—and maybe a little extra sugar

The laughter, teamwork, and festive spirit made it such a great time for everyone involved. Moments like these are what make our Avail family so special.
