We had such a wonderful time celebrating Easter here at Avail!

From our petting zoo (where the goats definitely stole the show ), to face painting, sweet treats, and over 2,000 eggs filled and ready for the big hunt—it was a day full of smiles, laughter, and family fun. We loved seeing so many of our residents, families, and friends come together to celebrate!

As we head into Good Friday tomorrow, we reflect on the meaning of this special season and the blessings of time spent with those we love.

Today our residents decided to split up for a little adventure… and let’s just say things got a little wild!

Some of our thrill-seekers took to the skies and went skydiving , while others stayed a little closer to the trees and went zip lining

At Avail, we truly believe in living life to the fullest—and today was proof that age is just a number when it comes to adventure, laughter, and making unforgettable memories!

We are so proud of our residents for always being up for something new and embracing every moment

It took multiple days (and lots of patience!) to fill all these Easter eggs… but we brought in the big guns

A HUGE thank you to the Walker Valley Anchor Club for jumping in and helping us finish stuffing all 2,000 eggs! We appreciate you all more than you know—our residents loved having you here

Lunch Bunch was a hit today!

We headed out to Champy’s for some good food and even better company—but the fun didn’t stop there! On the way, we made a special stop to see the famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile while it was in town. Of course, we couldn’t leave without grabbing some of their iconic whistles!

Fun facts about the Wienermobile:
• It’s been around since 1936—talk about a classic!
• The drivers are called “Hotdoggers” and travel the country spreading smiles (and whistles).
• There are only a handful of Wienermobiles on the road at a time, so catching one is pretty special!
• That famous whistle is officially called a “Wiener Whistle” and has been a fan favorite for decades.

Just another fun day making memories and enjoying the little things together at Avail!

At 75, Hall of Fame wrestling coach Al is back on the mat. 🤼

Avail Senior Living in Cleveland, TN has a resident returning to Cleveland High School to coach the next generation of high school wrestlers.

His 41 years of experience continue to shape young athletes week after week. 🏅

Our Memory Care residents had an absolute blast today thanks to our amazing in-house therapy team, The Weston Group!

Angi led a fun and engaging exercise class using balloons and beach balls, turning movement into laughter, smiles, and great energy all around. It’s always incredible to see therapy that doesn’t just focus on physical health—but also brings joy and connection to our residents.

At the exact same time, our Assisted Living residents were enjoying Dawn’s company as they made delicious yogurt parfaits—another sweet moment filled with smiles and conversation.

We love seeing both sides of our community thriving at the same time with activities tailored just for them.

We truly have the best partners right here at Avail!

It’s been a BUSY week here at Avail! 🎨🐰

We wrapped up our third painting tutorial, and you can really see the improvement each time. This week’s masterpiece was the cutest little bunny in a flower pot—just in time for spring!

Our residents continue to amaze us with their creativity and willingness to try something new. Watching their confidence grow with each brush stroke is the best part!

We stayed on the go today and loved every minute of it!

Our Lunch Bunch kicked things off with a delicious trip to Headrick’s—nothing beats good burgers and even better company! Then we hit the road to Charleston and made a stop at MB’s Produce & Farms… and WOW, those tulip fields were absolutely beautiful!

Fresh air, bright colors, and lots of smiles made for the perfect day. Days like this are what it’s all about!

Today’s cooking demo was all about Boxty—a traditional Irish potato cake that was a big hit!

Our residents enjoyed topping theirs with crispy bacon, green onions, sour cream, and cheese—yum! We also mixed in some fun Irish trivia to keep everyone engaged and laughing.

Fun fact: The shamrock became a symbol of Ireland because St. Patrick is said to have used it to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity! ☘️
