Goodness! Wild how quickly 6 years creeps up!

✨This Moment✨

Forever it’s ingrained as a core memory.
Chest feeding my third kiddo.

🎉Today is their 3rd birthday 🎂

While we stopped nursing a year ago , I still lactate to this day.
Knowing my body is capable three years AFTER birth to still produce and create milk has been such an honor for my being.
Liquid gold flows through me& it encourages me to help others through their milky journey.
•
May we honor what our bodies CAN do.
May we support others in their journeys.
Let us not judge but educate.
Let us gift others the beauty of sharing nutrients and love to these tiny humans in WHATEVER form that may come.

One of the beautiful perks of my jobs is coming to each and every one of your homes, so every year, I flip the switch and host my community Parent Circle here at my home in Parma Heights!

BIRTHERS Beat the Heat is a great opportunity for us to take our small Parents community groups and bring it outside and with a much bigger audience! Previous clients, future and current clients of Risa’s , The Womb and other local birthers are welcomed to attend.

🗣️ “My doctor had to break my water…”

Let’s talk about that.

No one has to do anything to you.

That was a choice, whether you felt you had one or not.

The phrase “had to” quietly erases:
🔹 Informed consent
🔹 Alternatives
🔹 Your autonomy
🔹 The fact that rupturing your amniotic sac is an intervention with potential consequences.

Here’s what’s real:
💧 Artificial Rupture of Membranes (AROM) can speed up labor, sometimes not, but it also comes with risks like cord prolapse, infection, and increased pain.

🧠 You get to say yes or no to that.
🫀 And you deserve providers who present it like a choice, not a foregone conclusion or routine.

Stop normalizing “they had to.”
Start asking, “Why?”
Start saying, “What are my options?”
Start knowing, “This is my body. My birth. My decision.”

✨✨SEEKING SUPPORT✨✨

As my business grows & my family changes, one of the most important things I need to be successful is CHILD CARE.

Local doulas & parents.
I’m refreshing my support list.
Located in CLEVELAND 📍, I’m seeking other doulas with the same need. Families who can “swap kids” during births or for appointments. A trade or payment arrangement. Time 4 time. Etc.
While I can create a ‘baby sitters list’, I’d prefer to dip into the Birth Community to see who else could thrive off safe support for our own kiddos.

An opportunity to support local friends, grow community and share birth stories and help keep our own families taken care of.
