The SPR® SPRINT® PNS System, marks an innovative shift in the treatment of pain. Our breakthrough, 60-day treatment is a First-Line™ PNS option uniquely proposed to recondition the central nervous system to provide significant and sustained relief from chronic pain — without a permanent implant, nerve destruction or the risk of addiction. The system has been studied extensively for low back pain, shoulder pain, post-amputation pain, and chronic and acute post-operative pain, and is cleared for use up to 60 days. Recognized by leading pain management centers, this breakthrough neuromodulation treatment offers a patient-preferred alternative to more invasive options. The SPRINT PNS System is indicated for up to 60 days for: (i) Symptomatic relief of chronic, intractable pain, post-surgical and post-traumatic acute pain; (ii) Symptomatic relief of post-traumatic pain; (iii) Symptomatic relief of post-operative pain. Joe, an Army veteran, developed severe neck pain from years of wearing heavy helmets in helicopters. After retiring, his pain worsened, and he stopped working and gardening. Despite various treatments, nothing provided lasting relief until x-rays revealed degenerative joint and disc disease.

Our milestone 50,000th implant was completed by Christopher Gilmore, MD, of the Carolinas Pain Institute and SPR consultant. His patient was treated for low back pain, a condition in which SPRINT PNS has shown strong utility. A lead investigator for multiple PNS clinical trials, Dr. Gilmore has seen first-hand the positive impact the SPR® SPRINT® PNS System may have on the lives of pain patients.
