The SPR® SPRINT® PNS System, marks an innovative shift in the treatment of pain. Our breakthrough, 60-day treatment is a First-Line™ PNS option uniquely proposed to recondition the central nervous system to provide significant and sustained relief from chronic pain — without a permanent implant, nerve destruction or the risk of addiction. The system has been studied extensively for low back pain, shoulder pain, post-amputation pain, and chronic and acute post-operative pain, and is cleared for use up to 60 days. Recognized by leading pain management centers, this breakthrough neuromodulation treatment offers a patient-preferred alternative to more invasive options. The SPRINT PNS System is indicated for up to 60 days for: (i) Symptomatic relief of chronic, intractable pain, post-surgical and post-traumatic acute pain; (ii) Symptomatic relief of post-traumatic pain; (iii) Symptomatic relief of post-operative pain. The SPRINT PNS System is not intended to be placed in the region innervated by the cranial and facial nerves. Physicians should use their best judgment when deciding when to use the SPRINT PNS System. Most common adverse events are skin irritation and erythema. Rx only. For Veterans' Day, we're highlighting stories from patients like Scott, who have found pain relief with the SPR® SPRINT® PNS System.

Our team is proud to offer the System as a treatment option for veterans like Scott, an Army veteran and former drill sergeant. Scott experienced chronic lower back pain after years of serving as an "airborne soldier" and enduring some hard landings. When doctors discovered that his spine had three compressed discs causing discomfort, he was referred to the VA's pain clinic. The VA's pain specialist then recommended the SPRINT® PNS System.

Carole had been feeling knee pain for years before her total knee replacement. She hoped knee surgery would fix her knee pain, but after her pain got worse. Carole's pain specialist started performing nerve ablations, but her insurance stopped covering the procedure, and she was left feeling hopeless.

Then Carole's physician introduced her to the SPR® SPRINT® PNS System. As soon as the SPRINT leads were implanted and stimulation was started, Carole started feeling relief right away. She experimented with different stimulation intensities using her hand-held remote and found that the highest intensity worked best for her. “I turned it up to the max! I was so astonished that it worked. I showed everybody, saying, ‘Oh, look at this thing I've got. I'm not feeling any pain!’”

SPRINT PNS System

SPR Therapeutics, Inc. is a privately held medical device company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, focused on developing, manufacturing and commercializing non-opioid, minimally invasive, treatment options that improve quality of life. The company’s SPRINT technology is the only percutaneous Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) System cleared to treat both chronic and acute pain.

The SPRINT® PNS System is a breakthrough neuromodulation treatment that marks an innovative shift in the treatment of pain. Proven to provide significant and sustained relief from chronic pain, SPRINT is a short-term, 60-day treatment that is minimally-invasive and drug-free. With 72% of patients reporting significant and sustained pain relief, SPRINT is the patient-preferred treatment for chronic pain when compared to radiofrequency ablation and permanently implanted neuromodulation systems.

In a multitude of studies, SPRINT has demonstrated significant and sustained pain relief post-60-day treatment for post-amputation pain, shoulder pain, lower back pain, and post-operative pain following joint replacement.
