I’m a few days behind because of a busy Friday and Saturday and a migraine Sunday & Monday, but I couldn’t let the day go by without celebrating 3 of my favorite people!!🥰

Throughout the month, I’ll be sharing some of my daily gratitudes from my gratitude journal.☺️ In hopes, to either open up a conversation, to express more gratitude & maybe to inspire someone to start their own gratitude journal/practice or simply share in that comments what they are grateful for.🥰

I am so grateful to all of the Veterans, and to their families, for their dedication and service to our country ~ including my Grandpa, Ken Ruffner, and my Father-in-law, Fred Hopp!🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

I am grateful for my Mother-in-law, Evelyn Hopp, who is celebrating her Heavenly Birthday today!😇🪽 I just adored this woman with my whole heart ~ we were definitely kindred spirits! I LOVE that her birthday was 11/11 and mine is 11/22!!💕🥰 I miss her dearly and know that she’s having the best birthday celebration up there!😘🍻🎂🎉🕊

Wow, these November evening skies are so pretty!😍

Throughout the month, I’ll be sharing some of my daily gratitudes from my gratitude journal.☺️ In hopes, to either open up a conversation, to express more gratitude and maybe to inspire someone to start their own gratitude journal/practice or simply share in that comments what they are grateful for.🥰

I am so grateful for afternoon puppy cuddles!🐶🐶🐶🐶 There’s just so much going on with them lately and I haven’t spent much time doing this and this afternoon seemed like the perfect opportunity.🥰

I am so grateful that the last few buds that we cut, before we put the rose bushes away, a couple have opened up!!🎉 Including, my favorite, the pink Tiffany rose!💗

I am so grateful that the skies were clear in Cleveland tonight so we could see the Super Full Moon (peaking at 7:41am tomorrow)!🌝 The halo on that Moon is spectacular!!🤩 I hope you were able to see it!!🌕

I am so grateful I looked up, as I was letting the pups in the house, and saw the bald eagle fly right over the backyard. It was absolutely stunning!! I think it was hanging out in the neighbors tree. I was hoping it would fly back after it few out over the lake but it headed to the beach. 🦅

I am extremely grateful for all my doctors, nurses and medical professionals that take care of me at the Cleveland Clinic. I realize this may be controversial for some, but as most of you know I’m there quite frequently and over the last 18 years I have been able to assemble a phenomenal group of specialists that are my go to people! A lot of my medical stuff is not the normal and my people have been my warriors and have been successful at keeping me above ground (lol🤭). In all seriousness, I am very blessed to have the team I do, that they address my concerns pretty quickly and to live in the same city so I don’t have far to travel for the best possible care!🙌🏻🥰🏥

I am so grateful that when I went outside at 5pm the sun was reflecting off the buildings downtown and the tops of the trees in the yard, and the (almost full) moon was rising above the city. 🌆😍🌖

November 1

I’m a day behind but simply embracing it because, well, that’s just kind of how this year has been! Hello, November!🍁🍂🎂

As I always say, I love this month for 2 reasons. One, it’s my birthday month…let the celebrating begin, especially since this month I’ll welcome the BIG 5-0!!🥳 Two, it’s a month that we focus on giving thanks.🥰🙏🏻

I’m so grateful for our view of Downtown Cleveland. It’s ever changing and yet in a way it stays the same. We love living on Lake Erie and obviously take the good with the bad. Those Gale Force winds, Wednesday into Friday, were no joke!🌬️🌬️🌬️

I’m super grateful that the massive migraine I woke up with, in the middle of the night, was gone by the time we got out of bed in the morning. I had so much I wanted to get done and I knew that would not have been possible with a migraine.🤕

I’m so grateful that our nephew agreed, and his girlfriend’s Mom & Dad (our lifelong family friends) invited us to be present for their Senior Homecoming Dance Photos (take 2; Bay Village’s, which is Caroline’s HS, was at the beginning of October). Nolan’s a Senior at St. Ed’s and his was last night so we all got together to take (lots) of paparazzi type photos. How are these to Seniors already?!🥹😍📸
PS it had the added bonus of getting to spend the evening with some of my most favorite people!!💕
