On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courage of those who stood watch in the dark, who carried the weight of freedom on their shoulders, and who returned home forever changed. Your sacrifice wove the fabric of our nation’s story, thread by thread, battle by battle, heartbeat by heartbeat. To every veteran: thank you for the peace that blooms where your boots once stood. May the same stars that guided you home now light your path with our gratitude and endless honor. 🇺🇸

Moment of Remembrance

October 27, marks the anniversary of the abduction and murder of Amy Renee Mihaljevic. Today is a solemn day and we ask those who remember Amy to observe a moment of silence in her honor.
While there will not be a run/walk this year, we are hoping to raise awareness of the case and encourage families to talk about what happened so many years ago. Rest assured, the case is still active and is being worked on by detectives. At this time, there are no new major developments to report. However, we know that with continued diligent work and tips from the public that we will solve this case. We will find justice for Amy, closure for her family and solace for the Community of Bay Village.

If you have any information regarding this case, please call the Bay Village Police Department at our non-emergency number 440-871-1234 and ask to speak to a detective.

Thank you,
Chief Robert Gillespi
Bay Village Police Department

For 25 years, since the team returned in 1999, the mark of a true Cleveland Browns fan was watching the game with the television volume turned down and the radio turned up.

That’s because no touchdown, sack or game-winning field goal was complete without hearing it called by Jim Donovan, the voice of the Cleveland Browns.

This is why we do what we do.

"This isn’t just a grave—it’s a prayer made visible, a testament to a love so deep it reaches beyond this world."

Today, we visited Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, where we came upon one of the most moving memorials we’ve ever seen.

Carved in stone, tenderly crafted and full of grace, it depicts angels watching over a child—a final, loving tribute from grieving parents who refused to let their little one be forgotten. There are no words needed; the sculpture speaks in silence, in folded wings, in protective hands outstretched from heaven.

This isn’t just a grave—it’s a prayer made visible, a testament to a love so deep it reaches beyond this world. In the stillness of Lakeview’s rolling hills and ancient trees, the memorial feels sacred, as if time itself slows to honor the innocence lost and the bond that death cannot break.

We stood quietly, humbled by the courage it takes to grieve so openly, so beautifully. This stone doesn’t just mark a life—it celebrates a soul that was cherished, however briefly, and will be remembered forever.

Rest in peace, sweet child.
May angels always hold you close.
And may your family find comfort in knowing your memory brings tears—and tenderness—to strangers who pass by.

Since Riverside Cemetery and Monroe Street Cemetery Foundation - Cleveland Ohio called a brief truce to , we figured we'd honor that truce and instead our animal post(s) will be local rescues looking for homes for the holidays.

This is MILLIE. She’s a native of Highland Heights where she was severely neglected and suffered a coyote attack which led to the loss of most of her tail. Millie is beautiful inside and out. She deserves a family and all of the comforts that come with that. Millie is at the LYNDHURST PET SUPPLIES PLUS STORE. She’s not a fan of store living, please don’t let her cage demeanor influence you. You can get the process going by applying for Millie on the EUCLID BEACH CAT PROJECT website.

If you aren't looking for a cat right now, please share the post. The more exposure Millie gets, the greater the possibility she could be home for Thanksgiving.
