The Cleveland Cavaliers’ new training complex — the Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center — is quickly taking shape along the Cuyahoga River!

Situated just below Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse and Progressive Field, the new design even calls for Eagle Ave to be rebuilt from Ontario and routed directly through the facility. This major project is being driven by Dan Gilbert’s Bedrock Real Estate, and it comes with a 25-year extension of the Cavs’ partnership with the Cleveland Clinic.

This isn’t just another construction site — it’s the first major vertical development in Bedrock’s $3.5 billion riverfront master plan, a huge investment in the revitalization of downtown Cleveland.

A state-of-the-art performance complex like this also strengthens Cleveland’s ability to recruit and retain top-tier players by offering world-class training, medical, and recovery facilities.

Proud to see Laborers Local 310 and the Cleveland Building Trades Council playing a role in helping build a project that will reshape our city’s future.

The facility is projected to open in 2027.

Cleveland is built on the hard work of men and women who get up every day and put their hands, hearts, and backs into making our city stronger. That’s why it is so important to reelect Danny Kelly, a proud Laborers Local 310 member, to Cleveland City Council.

Danny has never forgotten where he comes from. As a blue-collar worker and longtime Local 310 brother, he understands the challenges that working families face—whether it’s keeping good jobs in our city, ensuring safe neighborhoods, or making sure our communities have the resources they need to thrive. His record shows a commitment to accountability, fairness, and results for the people he represents.

The Cleveland Building Trades & Construction Council Annual Labor Day Softball Tournament came to an exciting close with a championship showdown between the division A Electricians Local 38 and the Laborers Local 310. After a long couple days on the diamond, the Laborers fought their way back into the title round, grinding out wins and refusing to go down easy.

Under the lights, it was a late-night battle where every play mattered. Local 310 left everything on the field, showing grit, determination, and true union pride, before finishing as runner-up in this years tournament. A contest worthy of a true championship game .

It was a great tournament from start to finish—brotherhood, competition, and the strength of the trades on full display. ⚾💪

Join us at James Day Park in Parma this Thursday, 6:00 PM as Laborers Local 310 kicks off the Cleveland Building Trades Tournament (continuing Friday night).

The trades built this city — from roads to schools to hospitals — and this is our chance to come together off the jobsite to celebrate that same solidarity on the field.

Bring your union gear, bring your voices, and let’s back our brothers and sisters in labor.

This award is a testament to the hard work, skill, and commitment that defines our apprenticeship program. Each year, the CEA Craft Excellence Awards shine a spotlight on the best in the trades, and this recognition shows the bright future of our union and the construction industry.

From the family of Joe Cunningham:

Hey everyone this is Brittany, Joes daughter. 310 is being kind enough to share this on mine and my family’s behalf. My family and I can’t thank you all enough for all the kind messages and condolences that were left and sent to us. It’s comforting knowing Joe was surrounded by such good people. This is a tragedy I never thought he nor my family would have to endure. With the circumstances of his death there will not be a funeral/service. He is in the process of being cremated so he can fully be at rest. With all that being said I have created a link that you all can use to upload photos/videos and post any stories/messages you may want to share about Joe. I encourage you all to post any and everything, even if you think it’s not a photo/video worth sharing or a story/message worth being told. Again, I want to thank you all so very much for the kind messages and appreciate the love we’ve received during this extremely difficult time.
