Job Description
Essential Job Performances
`Must be 18 years of age.
`High School Diploma/GED required.
`Ability to lift at least 35-50 lbs.
`Supervision of DSP-HHA work, schedules, and time approvals.
`Responsible for coordinating DSP-HHA vacant shifts.
`Complete checklist for individuals training for new assignments.
`Coordinates the instruction and supervision of the members in appropriate `basic activities of, daily living skills and recreational events in accordance with the Person-Centered Plan.
`Coordinate transportation, and/or accompany individuals to appointments/outings.
`Ensure physicians’ orders are implemented correctly.
`Present self and organization in a positive and professional manner.
`Supports and contributes to an overall environment of trust, sharing and growth through leadership and direction of the DSP’s.
`Responsible for coordinating DSP-HHA vacant shifts.
`Complete all paperwork (HPC/MAR) thoroughly, correctly and on a timely basis.
`Creates an environment in which best practices are promoted.
`Perform all job duties according to Ohio DODD policies.
`Able to exercise sound judgment in an emergency.
`Able to effectively manage multiple tasks.
`Ability to successfully complete mandatory training, in services and Medication `Administration class.
`Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
`Pass a pre-employment screening and background check.
`2 years of previous supervisory experience in a related field of work.
