North Coast Community Homes NCCH is a nonprofit working to provide stable, safe and supportive homes for people with disabilities Houses are customized to meet the needs of each person.

It is the vision of North Coast Community Homes to be a leader in fulfilling the housing needs of individuals with disabilities.​

Community based housing enables persons with disabilities to live as part of a community and neighborhood. Individuals go to work, enjoy leisure time at their home, socialize and are involved in community events.​

Our mission is critical to help men and women live their best life every day. Modifications to the home including; fire safety systems, ramps, lifts, barrier-free showers and more are made to ensure safety, comfort, and maximum independence.

Cuyahoga DD presents the 2026 Advocacy Series. Join Cleveland VOTES and advocates for Voting and Accessibility.

The event is on Friday, March 20, at the Ellenwood Center in Bedford, from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Together, we will watch "Accessibility and the Ballot," a documentary film about voting with a disability. Learn why every vote counts.

After the movie, a panel of voters with disabilities and advocates will share information and answer your questions.

This event is designed for adults with developmental disabilities, family members, caregivers, advocates, and providers.

Bring your Ohio ID if you want to register to vote at the event. A light lunch will be provided.

North Coast Community Homes (NCCH) continues to strengthen its leadership with the addition of new voices and expertise to its Board of Trustees. The organization is pleased to welcome Sholanda R Lewis and Sondra Palivoda as its newest board members.

NCCH President and CEO Chris West shared, “We are fortunate to continue attracting the support of strong business professionals to our Board of Trustees. As a nonprofit dedicated to providing quality homes and supportive resources for individuals with disabilities, we are honored that respected community leaders choose to lend their expertise and commitment to advancing our mission of supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.”

This event allowed us to highlight and recognize those influencers among our partners who positively support our work to provide quality housing and supportive resources to our residents. Our Story

North Coast Community Homes was established in 1984 to develop and maintain safe, comfortable and affordable housing for people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities in Cuyahoga County, OH in partnership with the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. It is now also providing housing in Lake and Stark counties and in Summit County for people with severe mental illness.
