That’s correct!
A women who’s expecting recently said to me “I wouldn’t be able to have my baby at home because I couldn’t live with myself if something was wrong with the baby. I need to give birth somewhere that they could help my baby if he wasn’t breathing or needed help when he was born”. I just chose to end the conversation at that point. These lies about the “safety” of giving birth in a hospital have become the indoctrination of our society. We have a high infant and maternal mortality rate for a developed country, yes…but guess what…the USA also has one of the highest rates of interventions during labor and delivery. Hmm I wonder if there is a correlation here. God did not make a mistake in His design. He created women to bear children. He also created midwives to assist women during a normal physiological process in case there are complications. I have been certified in neonatal resuscitation for over 12 years and I have assisted many babies during transition after birth. You don’t need to be in a hospital to have a safe birth. Take good care of yourself, eat nutrient dense food, exercise daily, get fresh air, tend to your spiritual health, educate yourself continuously; that should be the trend and you will birth just fine without anyone’s help.

It’s been a while since I posted. I’m still here, I’m still working out daily as you can see here in this lovey (haha) picture and I’m still busy catching babies and chasing my toddler. My workouts have switched from gym to home to save time and my baby weight is finally starting to leave me. It has been 7 months of consistent workouts and nutrition until I finally saw results, so I guess my point in this post is to say if you’re struggling with anything in your life right now and feel like it will never change I am here to tell you with prayer and consistency you will see the change you’re hoping for. You’re doing great and together we can encourage even bigger greatness. I
