Meet Trey, University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s 2026 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Champion!

Trey was born with myelomeningocele, a severe type of Spina Bifida where the spinal column doesn’t fully close, leading to nerve damage and mobility issues among other complications. For him, the team at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital doesn’t just treat his medical needs, they help him feel included by inviting him to events with other children facing medical challenges. He has gotten to drop the puck at Rainbow Night at the Cleveland Monsters alongside Dr. Hardesty, meet Myles Garrett at Rainbow Day with the Cleveland Browns, and just be treated like a kid whenever he’s receiving care.

University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital has been a proud member of Children's Miracle Network since 1988 and we are honored to benefit from its mission to bring people together to raise money for children's healthcare in their local communities.

Today, CMN unveiled a new look and is asking our community to join the movement to ensure . The outcome: we can do more for kids in our community. And they certainly deserve more.
