In September 2025, New Jersey became the 14th state to legalize natural organic reduction aka human composting, a shift driven by people asking for something more meaningful and sustainable. Across the country, more of us are having conversations we once avoided, reimagining death as part of the natural cycle of life.

People are choosing to become wildflower meadows, to grow into oak trees, to restore land, and to return to the earth as a gift. Natural organic reduction transforms human remains into soil that can nourish both our ecosystems and our lives.

Peace… we can control how we respond, chose peace, light always wins over darkness🙏🏻

✍️ Finding Peace in What We Cannot Control - Everything in life unfolds in ways we cannot predict. We wake each morning not knowing what the day will bring, what emotions will surface, or what circumstances will shift without warning.

Even our own happiness can feel elusive—arriving and vanishing like weather we cannot command. Our emotions rise and fall like tides, often defying our wish to feel differently than we do. If guiding our own hearts feels this difficult, how much more futile is it to try to control others? To demand they think or feel exactly as we wish?

The truth is both humbling and freeing: everything happens in its own way, following rhythms we did not write.

But here is what we can do: We can be at peace when things happen. We can meet whatever arises—joy or sorrow, gain or loss—with a steady mind and an open heart.

• If something can be changed: We do not need to worry—we simply take action with clear intention.

• If something cannot be changed: We also do not need to worry—we accept what is and save our energy for what we can actually influence.

This doesn't mean we stop caring. It means we stop adding unnecessary suffering to our lives. We stop exhausting ourselves trying to control the uncontrollable and focus on the one thing we can genuinely influence: our own response.

We do this through mindfulness. By returning to our breath, we anchor ourselves in the present. We notice when we are reacting unconsciously and choose to respond with understanding instead.

This is how we bring peace back to our inner landscape. We cannot control the storms that come, but we can learn to remain peaceful within them. We cannot dictate how others behave, but we can always choose how we respond.

and find peace in the silence of your own home

It is discipline that builds character

A woman who honors her own space
holds a crown invisible to the world
yet undeniable to herself

The right to decide… to have the choice.

“The party is over, precisely because it stopped being a party and became an ordeal. And I don’t have to show anyone how much I suffer… I bow out with dignity.” These are the words of Tatiana Andia, an economist, professor, and fierce advocate for the right to die.

Facing terminal cancer, Tatiana chose a medically assisted death in Colombia. She spent her final year fighting for dignity, transparency, and choice on her terms. Her story has already changed how Colombia talks about death, and we’re honored to uplift her voice and the advocates working to change laws around the world.

A woman may crave to be near water, or be belly down, her face in the earth, smelling the wild smell.

She might have to drive into the wind.

She may have to plant something, pull things out of the ground or put them into the ground.

She may have to knead and bake, rapt in dough up to her elbows.

She may have to trek into the hills, leaping from rock to rock trying out her voice against the mountain.

She may need hours of starry nights where the stars are like face powder spilt on a black marble floor.

She may feel she will die if she doesn’t dance naked in a thunderstorm, sit in perfect silence, return home ink-stained, paint-stained, tear-stained, moon-stained.
