This National Volunteer Appreciation Month, we are proud to recognize Sabrina. Her journey with loss led her to hospice volunteering, where she honors the memory of loved ones through meaningful service. From connecting students to create cards for veterans, to supporting children at Camp Hope, Sabrina brings compassion and purpose to everything she does. Our team recently recognized a patient who served 20 years in the Air Force, including time stationed in Alaska during the Cold War. Surrounded by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the moment reflected both pride and deep gratitude. Volunteers also honored a family member for his service in the U.S. Coast Guard, presenting a certificate and pin in recognition of his commitment. Moments like these remind us that every story matters and every service deserves to be seen and honored.
