We are mourning the passing of our long-time friend and Medical Director, Dr. David Chaffin.

Dr. Chaffin served New Hope for 16 years as a Board Member and Medical Director. His service made a difference in many lives. He will be missed.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to host several of our top Sponsored Walkers from last year’s Walk for Life at a special, thank you dinner.

We host this small gathering every year as a way to express our gratitude to those who work so hard to raise funds for New Hope’s mission to bring help and hope to those facing unplanned pregnancy. The people in this room (and some behind the camera) were some who raised $1,500 or sponsored the event for $2,000.

There aren’t many pictures, but this one is worth more than any of our words could express — we are grateful for each and every person who contributes to our ministry through their funds raised, time spent, and prayers offered.

We love our New Hope family and all who continue to build this Legacy of Hope. 🩵

We’ve had a busy start to the year (and it’s already February)! Since Sanctity of Human Life Sunday’s open house, we’ve been hard at work serving our clients, participating in community events (when the weather allowed), and we are gearing up for our first quarterly volunteer training of the year. There is so much good work happening at New Hope!

So, here are some of the highlights from last month:

1) Our CEO, Beth Henderson, got to speak at Cleveland Christian School as they neared the end of their Baby Bottle Boomerang campaign. They set a BIG goal — $6,500 — AND THEY MADE IT!! We are so blessed by the students’ participation each year. ❤️❤️❤️ Seeing students on fire for defending life is always so inspiring!

2) We have had two graduations last month (one pictured below) and we pray they continue to thrive.

3) Some of our clients learned about health habits during pregnancy at our monthly Group Workshop.

4) We had the privilege of being at Candies Creek Baptist Church’s bi-annual missions fair where we got to have some great conversations.

Out of an abundance of caution, New Hope will be closed on Monday, January 26th.

We got to celebrate Sanctity of Human Life Sunday at our Open House on the 18th, and we were so delighted by the conversations, the connections, and the heart of Jesus on display in our new and old friends who stopped by. There was something so special about this year's gathering.

It is such a blessing to get to share New Hope’s Legacy of Hope when we walk through our building. It is an honor to do this work in and alongside this community.

Thank you to all who came out in the cold to spend a couple of hours with us. ❤️
