The first viable black baseball league was formed in 1920 under the leadership of Rube Foster. Foster had been a pitcher in the early years of the 20th Century but would be even better known for being a manager in his newfound league, as well as a big promoter of the league. The league was headquartered in Kansas City, MO. The league would be responsible for creating and developing stars who would eventually be apart of the MLB's integration.

Bessie Coleman was the first African American female to become a licensed pilot in June of 1921. She was born in Texas in 1892 and would have to travel to France in order to receive her license, because of the lack of opportunities in America. She died tragically in a plane crash in 1926.

It's always important to get your bang for your buck! It's no different when buying cleaning products. If you are paying $10 and only getting an 8 oz bottle, you should understand how much needs to be applied. Likewise, spending $5 for a gallon of cleaner may seem like a good idea, but if it takes cups of it to clean anything you end up wasting both time and money.
