Remote Area Medical (RAM) will be hosting a free, two-day pop-up clinic providing dental, vision, and general medical services to anyone (no insurance required).

Services include dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions; eye exams and free eyeglasses; and general medical consultations. Services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dates: November 8–9, 2025
Location: Cleveland State Community College, 3535 Adkisson Dr.,

The patient parking lot will open at midnight on Friday, November 7th, and clinic doors typically open around 6:00 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring medications, snacks, water, and any personal essentials. Due to capacity limits, patients may need to choose between dental or vision services.

Hot, humid, and stormy! Welcome to summer in Tennessee!

⚠️ A Heat Advisory remains in effect today through 7 PM. Heat index values could reach up to 106°F in southeastern Tennessee. Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activity, and take breaks in the shade or air conditioning if you’re working outside.

⛈️ This afternoon and evening, we’re expecting scattered thunderstorms, especially along the mountains near the TN/NC border with additional development possible across the valley. The main threat is damaging wind gusts from slow-moving storms.

🌩 East Tennessee is now included in the risk area for severe weather. Storm coverage may be scattered, but the timing and potential impacts are high-confidence.
