❄️ Staying Active Together This Winter 💙
Cold weather can make it tempting to slow down — but movement, at any level, plays an important role in physical and mental well-being for people living with spinal cord injury. Our Winter 2025 Connections Newsletter highlights accessible, at-home ways to stay active during the colder months, with options designed to meet you where you are.
From virtual programs like MENTOR, to self-guided exercise videos from the Shepherd Center, to printable resources from Flint Rehab, this article reminds us that there’s no one “right” way to move — just what works for you.
💪 Every bit of movement counts. You’re not in this alone, and there are resources to support you all winter long.

In order to continue serving Northeast Ohio and even consider expanding our services, we have a few "positions" that need to be filled. These positions are all volunteer positions, as we do not have the finances (at this time) to hire anyone as an employee. The future of our chapter depends on the help we have and once we have some help, we can look into grant options for funding.

Technology Specialist - maintaining our website, updating content, maintaining security

If you are interested, would like further information, or interested in helping but not with this position, please email us your interest at unitedspinalneo@gmail.com.

When I was an arcade rat in the 1980s, my idea of heaven looked just like what I discovered when I attended the 41st Annual Pinball Expo this October in Schaumburg, Illinois, outside of Chicago: a…
