✅ Abortion is legal through 21 weeks and six days of pregnancy.
📱Providers can prescribe medication abortion through telehealth! But it is being challenged in court.
🕛 There's no waiting period! The law mandating a 24-hour wait for patients after getting their consultation is paused.
❌ Patients under the age of 18 can't get an abortion without the permission of their parent/guardian. Though they can go through the court system to receive a judicial bypass.

The latest report from Abortion Care Network said it best. the majority of abortion care in the United States.

But as states restrict or illegalize care, indie clinics have been forced to close. This puts additional pressure on the remaining indie clinics like Preterm. Thankfully, we've still been able to see patients and keep abortion accessible in our community. But it's only because we have such an amazing community of staff, partner organizations, donors, and volunteers to help us through it.

We don't use the term "pro-life." Here's why👇

🔍 It implies that people who support abortion are "anti-life," which is simply not the case.
📝 Often, these "pro-life" groups are only concerned with restricting abortion. So the term is inaccurate at best.
😵‍💫 It's meant to confuse people who aren't familiar with reproductive rights or justice.

Abortion isn't the opposite of life. Actually, it can be a lifesaving procedure for many. Saying "anti-abortion" instead of "pro-life" is just one way to destigmatize this completely normal healthcare procedure.
