Researchers found that people using melatonin long-term had a 90% higher risk of heart failure compared to those who didn’t. It’s a reminder that even natural supplements can have side effects when not used properly.

I’m not saying melatonin is bad. It has its place, but it’s not meant to be a nightly habit. Take care of your health, get good rest, and always stay informed.

I wanted to share something that happened recently, especially for my fellow small business owners.

A guest reached out after two of her CashApp payments were suddenly cancelled and refunded—even though she had already received her products, paid in full, and never requested a refund. She even showed me proof of both transactions.

It’s frustrating to see how these things can happen and how small businesses can be left in the middle. I’ve always tried to keep things simple and trustworthy, but this made me realize it’s time to make a change.

Moving forward, we will no longer be accepting CashApp as a form of payment. This isn’t about pointing fingers, it’s about protecting our guests and our business from issues like this in the future.

If you’re a small business owner, I’d love to know if you’ve experienced something similar.

I found this little butterfly struggling, so I gave her a bed made of lantana and a nice view to rest. She passed the next day, as I suspected. She now joins the few I’ve collected before nature recycled them.

While I was watering plants yesterday, a guy walked by carrying a huge military backpack. We started talking, and he told me he’s walking from Oklahoma, just going where the road takes him and talking to folks about Jesus. I offered him some MREs to eat, but he said he was good to go.

Fast forward to today. One of my regulars came in, made his purchase, and as he was heading out, he handed me $100. I told him, “Hey, you already paid,” but he said, “Yeah, I know. This is for you. I haven’t seen a lot of people coming in, and I feel like you should have it.”

I told him I was doing fine, still paying bills and keeping things going by the grace of God. He said, “I just feel like I have to give it to you.” So I said, “Alright, bet. I’ll use this money to feed some folks,” and he said, “That sounds good.”

What you guys don’t know is that I’ve had this desire for a while to feed people. Not just food for the body, but food for the soul. I want people to see the love of God through action, not just words.

So today, when Frank handed me that $100, I took it as confirmation that I’m on the right path and just have to hold on. God’s timing is perfect. We just have to trust it.

Not even an hour later, I got a call from Norman, the man walking from Oklahoma sharing the good news of Jesus. He said, “I should have taken those MREs you offered me. I’m out of food and heading toward Louisiana.”

That’s how real God is. He lined it all up. If Norman had called me earlier, I would have helped him with what I had, but instead, God sent Frank and used Frank’s gift to remind me that He’s got me covered no matter what.

Stay true to your purpose and let God lead. He’ll handle the rest.

The moral of the story is this: God is not dead.

You wouldn’t believe how many stories I hear every week about how much this stuff helps with pain and healing. Some of them even surprise me.
