Before Pilates went viral, a pioneering innovator quietly shaped the equipment we still use today...

His innovations would go on to influence both dance medicine and Pilates rehabilitation for decades to come.
To learn more about these early innovations and the story behind them, Pilates educator and author Elizabeth Larkam shares her firsthand account of meeting Jean-Claude West and witnessing his groundbreaking work.
