Upstate Works is a unique contingent staffing program offered exclusively to members of the Iroquois Healthcare Association (IHA). Participating organization’s will have the ability to:

- Decrease reliance on high-cost traditional staffing agencies.

- Reduce expenses.

- Provide the opportunity for greater staffing agency cost management. Upstate Works will be managed in partnership with Healthcare Workforce Logistics (HWL) a third-party technology and management services provider that specializes in providing contingent workforce management solutions.

We're excited to announce that we recently partnered with Healthcare Workforce Logistics (HWL) and esteemed Upstate New York hospitals, UVM Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, Mohawk Valley Health System, and Samaritan Medical Center, on a project highlighting the excellent care that these facilities and others in Upstate Works and Caring Gene® Works offer to their local communities. Lori Kiesel, VP from HWL, along with Kelley Johnson, MSN, RN, Wanderly CNO, and former Miss California, had the pleasure of speaking with nurses at these Upstate New York hospitals to learn more about what attracts them to work in this region.
