You’ve got this 💪
To the mama who’s nervous about feeding in public…I get it. The first time feels like everyone’s watching. You fumble with your shirt, your heart races, and your baby cries louder than you thought possible. You wonder if it would’ve been easier to wait until you got home.
But then your baby latches, the world softens, and suddenly nothing else matters. The chatter fades, the coffee cups clink, the sun hits your baby’s hair…and it’s just the two of you again.
That’s when it clicks: you’re not doing anything wrong. You’re doing something beautiful.
You’re feeding your baby.
You’re calming your baby.
You’re mothering your baby.
And you don’t owe anyone an explanation for that.
One day, this will feel normal… sitting on a bench, in a café, at the park, wherever you happen to be. You’ll forget about the people walking by. You’ll stop worrying about the ones who stare. And you’ll realize that this tiny moment… your baby in your arms, your heart steadying with every suckle, is sacred.
You are not “showing off.”
You are not “making a scene.”
You are doing what mothers have done since the beginning of time… feeding your baby in the place where life happens.
So if no one’s told you yet:
You’re doing beautifully.
You belong here.
And your baby deserves to eat
anywhere, anytime, without apology.
💛
