Can Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine improve the quality of sleep? The answer is absolutely!

Many people suffer from sleep deprivation due to chronic insomnia. Chronic insomnia is an epidemic problem that is typically induced by stress and over time can increase the rates of serious disease including prolonging infections, diabetes and weight gain or the ability to lose weight.

Many turn to “sleeping pills” which include prescriptions such as Ambien and Lunesta in addition to OTC drugs such as Tylenol PM and Benadryl. Allergy season is in full swing. For those suffering with itchy, watery eyes, sneezing and nasal congestion, symptoms can be managed or prevented altogether by following a few easy tips.

1. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas are both outstanding at both preventing seasonal allergies and helping to manage symptoms, such as nasal congestion once they have already started.
