To My Valued Patients,
It is with great excitement and pride that I write this post to announce the next step in my career. I have decided to merge my practice with my long-time friends Drs. Chauvin, Vu and Yurchak on Route 146 in Clifton Park. The transition will officially take place on October 1st. Dr. Chauvin and I have discussed the possibility of merging our practices for many years, and the time has come to make it a reality. Our Grooms Road location will be closing. All appointments starting on October 3rd will be at our new location - 981 Rt. 146. I’ve already had the opportunity to tell some patients, many of whom have asked if I’m retiring. The answer is NO! I plan on practicing for a long time and look forward to continuing to help your families grow up happy and healthy.
Rest assured that Patty, Lyn and Ellen will be joining me on this venture, and we will continue to give you the care that you deserve and have come to expect. We are excited to be in a larger space conveniently located across from the Shen campus where we will be able to offer expanded appointment times and a wider variety of services.
I look forward to discussing this exciting transition with each of you as I see you at your upcoming visits. Thank you for allowing my team and me to take care of your dental health over the years, and we look forward to many more years together!

Dear Patients,

After almost three months we have been cleared to open! June 8th will be our first day back. Please know that we will be taking every possible measure to ensure the safest and most pleasurable experience possible while adhering to the strict guidelines layed out by the DOH and CDC. As always we will treat one patient at a time and thoroughly disinfect each room between patient encounters. Some of the additional precautions we will be taking include: staggered appointment times, at least one hour between patient visits in any treatment room, daily health checks with thermal temperature scanning at the door of both patients and team, contactless check-out procedures, installation of medical grade HEPA air filters in each treatment room, increased levels of PPE for myself and the team, sanitizing station at the door, pre-procedure mouth rinses for all patients, and much more. When arriving for your appointment please remain in your car, we know you’re there and we will come out to greet you. Please wear a mask to your appointment and bring your own pen for any paperwork or check-writing. Unless prior arrangements are made our reception area is closed, so please come alone. Any caretakers, family or friends will be required to wait in the car. Most importantly - if you or any close contacts have been confirmed COVID positive or exposed please call us to discuss how we can help as well as reschedule your visit. If you’re having any COVID symptoms please call us prior to your appointment and we can discuss your options. And as always feel free to call us if you have ANY questions. We can’t wait to see you!

To all of our patients and friends - I wanted to say we are still here and available to see any patient that needs us if they’re having a problem. We’ve got plenty of PPE and are taking all of the appropriate measures laid out by the ADA, the CDC, and the Department of Health to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible. To our loyal patients and friends,

As many of you may know by now we have condensed our two practices into one. Our Scotia location is now closed. It pleases me very much to say that almost all of our Scotia patients have embraced the transition and are now part of our Clifton Park practice. My staff and I wanted to publicly say what a privilege it has been to become a part of the Scotia community over the last five years and we look forward to continuing the many relationships that we have developed. I'd also like to say what an honor it has been to take over for Dr. Frank Strauss, a fine man and dentist. We look forward to the next era of continued health and success!
