🌟 THANK YOU! 💙

As Autoimmune Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re deeply grateful to everyone who showed up.

Together, you helped create real, visible impact:
🔹You shared your personal stories across social media and among your communities.
🔹Cities and states officially recognized March as Autoimmune Awareness Month.
🔹109 landmarks in 19 countries lit up to shine a global spotlight on autoimmune disease.
🔹Advocates met with congressional offices to call for increased research funding and stronger federal leadership, while others called and emailed their elected officials to make their voices heard.
🔹Donors and supporters gave generously and hosted fundraisers to support research, advocacy, and care for the autoimmune community.

Every action mattered because awareness builds understanding, understanding fuels action, and action drives progress. 🫶

March may be ending, but this movement continues. Learn how to stay involved all year long: autoimmune.org/get-involved

About 25% of people living with autoimmune disease are managing more than one condition.

Some people live with two diagnoses, others with three, four, or more. While each condition has its own symptoms, they share a common root: an immune system that mistakenly attacks the body’s own healthy cells.

In our latest podcast episode, we sit down with Erika, who is living with six autoimmune diseases. She shares what that reality looks like and what it’s taken to keep moving forward.

🌸💙 Csatlakozunk az Autoimmun Betegségek Világnapjához! 💙🌸

Március 25-én a Széllkapu Park ikonikus, napelemes gombái különleges, rózsaszín, lila és kék fénybe borulnak. Ezzel a látványos kivilágítással egy fontos ügyre irányítjuk a figyelmet: az autoimmun betegségekkel élők láthatatlan küzdelmeire. ✨

Támogassuk együtt az autoimmun betegeket! 🕊️

Progress in autoimmune disease doesn’t happen by chance. It happens because patients, researchers, and clinicians come together through clinical trials. Every trial moves us closer to better treatments, and every participant helps move the entire community forward.

80% of people living with autoimmune disease are women, many of whom are building careers, raising families, and navigating daily life.

We partnered with WellTheory to better understand their experiences, and what we found is hard to ignore: 70% of women say their autoimmune condition has limited their career potential.
This isn’t just a health issue. It’s a workplace issue, an economic issue, and a quality-of-life issue.
