Macomb County Community Mental Health is the public provider of mental health, substance use and developmental disability treatment services in Macomb County. MCCMH programs and services are supported and funded, in part, by the Michigan Department of Community Health and the Macomb County Board of Commissioners and are administered by the Macomb County Community Mental Health Board.

In 2025, our Children’s Mobile Crisis Unit boasted some of the best performance statistics statewide – keeping children out of the hospital, avoiding placement changes, and deescalating situations where children are most comfortable.

Join the Sterling Heights Drug Free Coalition at their annual Black Balloon Day event to connect with others impacted by substance use disorder, raise awareness around harm prevention, and most importantly, to honor those we’ve lost.
