To our Patients,
Our patients are the most important thing to us. In order to protect you and our staff and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we will be changing the way we care for you during this time.
We are still here for you and are committed to providing you the care you need.
REMEMBER NOT TO GO TO ER UNLESS IT IS A LIFE EMERGENCY. CALL US FIRST IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE.
COVID 19 TESTING IS NOT DONE IN ER, ONLY AT DRIVE THRU AT SELECTED HEALTH SYSTEMS IN METRO DETROIT. WHILE IN LINE, YOU WILL BE SCREENED.
WE REMAIN OPEN AND WILL CONTINUE TO CARE FOR YOU IN THE OFFICE ONLY IN A FEW CASES AND IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY COLD/ COUGH/ FEVER SYMPTOMS.
BEFORE EACH APPOINTMENT, A MEMBER OF OUR STAFF WILL ASK YOU A FEW QUESTIONS TO DETERMINE WHICH TYPE OF VISIT IS BEST FOR YOU.
Why are we changing?
To protect our patients and staff alike during this uncertain time. Whether you are ill or well, we can still provide you the safe, competent, comprehensive care.
How can I still get care?
In person: if you do not have any symptoms and need to be seen in person. Our staff is wearing N95 medical masks, gloves and goggles. Our office is wiped down every time after each patient.
Video: Many of your traditional physician visits can be achieved from the comfort of your home. Our video visit service can connect you and your doctor together.
We use Zoom meeting, a HIPAA compliant video system to do our video visit. By seeing you, we keep the visit as close as what it is in the office. We are able to look at any skin rash, edema .... and you can see your doctor and ask him question in real time.
A member of our staff will help you, if you need, to set up Zoom Meeting on your cell phone or computer prior to yur scheduled video appointment. It is fast, secure and does not require you to sign up to any service.
Telephone: We will care for you over the phone, similar to a regular visit to our office. Discuss medications, your chronic illnesses, your overall wellness, and more.
On-Line: Through your MyChart account you can accomplish many healthcare items. Request refills, send a question, or perform an on-line e-visit with your doctor.
What kind of care can I get?
We can still treat all forms of medical conditions from illnesses to managing your chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
We can also help with any mental health needs and coordinating community resources.
What do I have to do?
CALL US FIRST TO DISCUSS the needs or concerns you have related to your health. Your doctor is still the person to reach out to when you need something.
MyChart is an easy way to connect with us, if you don't have it, call us and we will help you get set up. However, you do not need to have MyChart in order to get care from your doctor.
As we all adjust to our new way of life, we ask for your patience and understanding, but know that we are committed to delivering comprehensive care in a personal way.
In health,
Dr Kahnamouei and Staff
