A crew of goats from local company “Just Us Goats” are working around the clock at the Bird Sanctuary in Carondelet Park, eating all the overgrown, harmful and invasive plant species as a part of a revitalization project.

Owner of “Just Us Goats” Robert Rusan told FOX 2 they are out there day and night, with plenty of fresh water and, of course, food.

As many of you are aware, I have a strong affinity for animals. If you have any farm animals that you can no longer care for, please do not hesitate to contact me, as I typically have available space. Chickens, goats, rabbits, ducks, etc., even if they are no longer productive or serving a purpose, are more than welcome to find a new home with me! I regret that I am unable to accept additional dogs or cats, but if you require a new home for your farm animals, please feel free to reach out to me!

With the beautiful weather we have been experiencing, it is essential to spend time outdoors. Take advantage of the fresh air and make an effort to avoid the crud that is circulating. This evening, I had the opportunity to visit Double Drop Falls at Bluffton Preserve, and I was impressed by the breathtaking view as always. I am particularly fond of this area, and I was pleased that it was exceptionally clean. Remember to Leave No Trace and refrain from removing any natural elements, instead taking only memories.
