Ocean Meadow provides local families with specialized dementia care in a home-like setting! Our focus is simple—quality of life.

Ocean Meadow is a specialized memory care community located in the heart of Clinton, just moments from the harbor. We are privately owned, which fosters a unique, homelike atmosphere and extremely tight knit relationships between our team, residents, and their families. Ocean Meadow offers a 24/7 onsite nursing team and provides care for all stages of Alzheimer's and related dementias. Memory care specific programming is tailored to the individual needs, interests, and preferences of those that we are privileged to care for. We use recreation and laughter as a gateway to maintain physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and social wellbeing. We develop unique and creative programs as opportunities to create a sense of purpose.

Connecticut Hospice paid us a visit this week and treated our residents to a lovely Hot Cocoa Social! ☕️They even had one of their hospice volunteers, a talented flutist, playing beautiful melodies for us. We are thankful to our community partners for always thinking about our residents! 🎶

✨We had such a great time decking the halls yesterday with two fantastic holiday parties! John Banker kept us moving and grooving, and our dining and activity team treated us to delicious snacks! We still have so much holiday fun ahead of us this month and we can’t wait!✨

If you’d like to help families in need, food donations can be made Wednesdays from 9am-12pm at First Church of Christ, Congregational, just a few doors down from Ocean Meadow! 🙂

We honored our Veterans today with a beautiful pinning ceremony hosted by Athena Hospice, led by their chaplain who is a Veteran himself!🇺🇸Residents proudly accepted their plaques, and were personally recognized for their service. We finished off the afternoon with patriotic singalongs and red white and blue treats. Today we honor the service, sacrifice, and courage of all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces—thank you for your dedication to our country!
