I want to express a few final thoughts on my “retirement” today. I was overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of concern and kind words that were received by phone, text, and social media. That is just one of the reasons that I love what I do and to have the privilege of doing it in Clinton.

Rest assured that I am not going anywhere anytime soon.

Finally, I want everyone to know the person that posted my “retirement” did return my phone calls and messages after my post was published. He did apologize for the post, and said it was a mistake. We have all made mistakes, and I don’t feel this person should be ridiculed for it. Our response post was meant to make light of the situation and hopefully that is how it came across.

It has been brought to my attention a post regarding my practice was made on several pages. I have served the city of Clinton and surrounding areas for 38 years. If you are a patient of mine, you know your care is of the utmost importance to me. Todays posts are not only FALSE regarding my retirement, but Dr. Satar’s sign is not new.

Apparently, when seeing the small sign for Dr. Satar, this person missed the HUGE sign with my name on it.

Perhaps it’s time for an eye exam, and we ARE still accepting patients. So we will be waiting for your phone call.

I have no plans to retire. I appreciate all of the calls from our patients, and I look forward to continuing to take care of all of your eye care needs.

Before spreading rumors about a business, perhaps you should consider contacting the business. There are not many of us left!

We are looking for detail oriented people that enjoy working as a team to achieve the best possible experience for our patients. Our receptionists perform a variety duties through out the day which may include: making and taking phone calls, greeting patients, scheduling, insurance verification, checking patients out, and being helpful to our back office to help things run smoothly.

Advantage Eyecare is looking for a Full-time Optometric Technician.

The applicant must have strong communication and computer skills, be able to multitask, be detail oriented, self motivated, and well organized.

Our technicians are responsible for accurately updating patient charts, start-up testing, and other office duties. Previous experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
