Students from Project SEARCH visited the Figge today. The majority had never been to an art museum before, but they asked thoughtful questions and provided insightful observations in conversation with Bill, one of our volunteer docents.

Project SEARCH is a fifth-year job skills training program for students in the Clinton Community School District who have completed their high school credits. Participants transition into the workforce by performing internships and going on community outings.

Staff member Pat F. stressed the importance of these trips, because they give students a chance to get out of Clinton and explore fun and inexpensive ways to spend their leisure time.
