Multi-County Youth & Family Services

Multi-County Youth & Family Services Youth and Family Services Agency MCYFS is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Youth Services (OAYS). Private contributions are tax deductible.

The mission of Multi-County Youth and Family Services is to foster and promote the growth of healthy, resilient children and families through mental health services, child advocacy, prevention, education, and community intervention services. Multi-County Youth and Family Services is a private non-profit organization which was started in 1972 as a temporary shelter for children and youth in crisis and/or in need of shelter. In recent years, MCYFS has enhanced and expanded services to meet the ever growing needs of Western Oklahoma's youth and their families. The organization is governed by the auspices of a Board of Directors, comprised of volunteer citizens who live within the agency's catchment area. These individuals volunteer their time, expertise, and concern to ensure that MCYFS maintains high quality existing services and promote the development of additional resources. Multi-County Youth and Family Services is supported through contracts with federal, state, and local governments, and public and private donations. Individual and group donations are of particular importance since they allow the agency to customize services for the individual communities.
