💜 November is Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month 💜

Alzheimer’s is a progressive and fatal brain disease — not a normal part of healthy aging. While there’s currently no cure, researchers continue to work toward understanding its root causes and finding better treatments.

This month, take time to learn the signs of mild cognitive impairment, which can sometimes precede Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Early awareness can make a difference.

This reluctance may stem from stigma, generational attitudes toward mental health, or a lack of awareness about available resources. Because of this, it is especially important for professionals, caregivers, and even family members to recognize the warning signs early, so that older adults can receive the support and care they need.
