Yesterday we had a good time painting Eggs with Chelsea from Swan Hospice.

Today the staff April Fooled the resident with pink french toast and blue milk for their cereal! 🤣 we also made some browniEs for dessert for dinner 😉
The Easter Bunny also "hopped" on by with some treats for our residents! 🐰🌷

🎉Today 5, yes FIVE years, have gone by since we opened!
Today 5 years ago we began our journey caring for our sweet elderly residents. We have enjoyed every second caring for some of thee sweetest, most unique and interesting people we've ever met. It is such an honor to care for everyones loved ones, past and present. Every single one leaves a mark on our facility.
Thank you for allowing us to do the work that we do! 🎉

Our assistant director found an activities page for assisted living homes and it is full of good ideas. One of them being a home in Utah that is asking for "Easter" mail for the residents. In the comments were tons of facilities writing their address.
So this weekend the residents colored Easter eggs with their names on the back to send to other facilities. Our director wrote a letter and gave all sorts of fun facts about Michigan and our facility!
We are hopeful to get some mail back. We sent some to California, Texas, Utah, Louisiana, etc. 🐰✝️🌷
