Become a Clinical Research Coordinator. Are you looking for a career change? Heartland Medical Research, Inc. is looking for a CMA to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Duties include consenting subjects, verifying patients are eligible for clinical trials, collecting medical history, collecting and processing and shipping labs, entering data into a web-based software program. You will be working at a clinic in Clive, Iowa. Previous clinic experience preferred.

Must have experience in phlebotomy, assessing vital signs, collecting ECG’s and basic computer knowledge ( outlook, word, data entry). Will train in the knowledge of research coordinating. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to multi-task and have good communication skills.

My friend posted this and gave me permission to share. Get your screening colonoscopy, now recommended at age 45.

Just a stark reminder to you, my friends that I love:

Please get your 45 yr old colonoscopy screening!!
(Then every 10 years)

Mine was positive despite feeling amazingly perfectly healthy with ABSOLUTELY NO GI ISSUES WHATSOEVER!!! I had ONE SMALL spot that would have turned into full blown bad cancer within ONE year! I was completely SHOCKED because I’m SO HEALTHY, exercise, and EAT very healthy as well!! No one in my family had a history of colon cancer or even cancer.
I had to have surgery to remove 1/3 of my colon after my first 50 yr old screening colonoscopy. It wasn’t bad and I’m 60 now and doing great but my Dr at a repeat colonoscopy on Tuesday made a stark statement which made me want to reach out to remind my friends about theirs.

He said “thank goodness you went, you know that colonoscopy saved your life”

A stark reminder. Please go get yours! First one at 45, then every 10 years afterwards.
Colon cancer has no signs ever unless (usually) it’s very advanced. 😬😰

Also, for your knowledge:
Polyps turn into cancer.
They remove polyps during the colonoscopy so they can’t eventually turn into cancer. ❤️🥰✅

Administrative Assistant / Regulatory Specialist - Are you looking for a new career path with opportunity for growth? Heartland Medical Research, Inc. is looking for an administrative assistant/regulatory specialist. Medical knowledge or prior research experience is helpful, but not required. Previous office experience required. We do conduct skill testing and will train you in the field of Clinical Research.

Duties include maintaining the Investigator Site Files (ISF) in an organized manner, submitting IRB documents, communication with various Sponsor and CRO contacts, and assisting the office manager as needed.

Must be computer literate and proficient in MS WORD. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to multi-task and have good communication skills. You will be working at our office in Clive, Iowa.
