🌟A Liberty Dream Comes True 🌟

At 100 years old, Isabell recently fulfilled her Liberty Dream of attending the symphony, which holds deep meaning for her. When she was young, she attended Luther College on a music scholarship for oboe and then played for years in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony. Music has always been part of her heart, and last Sunday was truly a full-circle moment.

Seeing the joy on Isabell’s face reminded us why Liberty Dreams matter. Honoring the stories, passions, and histories of residents is a privilege we never take for granted.

Thank you to everyone who helped make her dream a reality. 🎻🪉🌹

Always know it’s Friday when the crafty crew takes over the sunny Creative Arts room! Love to hear the happy chit chat and laughter and watch them work on their individual projects: quilting, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and huck (Swedish weaving). 🪡🧵🧶

🚴‍♀️🌿🐿️🌞💐🌳 If you ask the cyclists, the dog-walkers, the nature-lovers, the fitness striders, the flower smellers and the outdoor strollers, they’ll tell you how fun it is to be just steps away from the Greenbelt Trail - a scenic paved path 11 miles long that’s connected to OTHER trails like Raccoon Valley!🌷🌺🌸🌼🥀🌻🌹 So grateful for the convenience. 🥰 😎
