Capital Orthopaedics serves as team physicians for the Iowa Wild, Iowa Wolves, Graceland University, and area high schools. **Our new Orthopaedic Walk-in Clinic is open Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm in Clive. No referral or appointment necessary.**

This distinguished honor recognizes Dr. Peterson’s dedication to advancing orthopaedic care, his leadership within the profession, and his commitment to patients.

The medal was presented by Dr. Fish, who is also a Fellow of the AOAO — making this moment even more meaningful for our Capital Orthopaedics team.

Get to know a little more about Dr. Todd Peterson!
 Dr. Peterson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement and sports medicine, with extensive experience treating conditions of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow.

He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University and completed his residency at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, followed by a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at Southern Illinois University.

Outside of work, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife and children and staying active in his church community.

We’re proud to have his expertise and heart for patient care on our team!
