🚨 Attention patients 🚨

Starting in 2026, chiropractic care will no longer be covered under Minnesota Medicaid or MinnesotaCare for patients ages 21+. This means if you’re currently using these programs for chiropractic, you’ll be forced to pay out-of-pocket for services.

👉 The Department of Human Services is taking public comments until October 17th.

📧 Please send an email to dhs.spa.comments@state.mn.us and simply say:
“Do not take chiropractic out of Medicaid and MinnesotaCare.
• Share how chiropractic care helps you or your loved ones.
• Explain what losing coverage would mean for your health.

Your voice matters. Let’s make sure Minnesota keeps chiropractic care accessible for all!

Join us in welcoming our newest staff member, Amanda!! She will be at the front desk every morning and all day Wednesdays!

Amanda was born and raised in Iowa. She moved to Duluth with her husband in 2021. That year, they bought a house and moved to Cloquet.

She has a son named Miles and dog named Peyton.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family traveling, spending time outdoors, and loves to bake.

Ellison Family Chiropractic is HIRING! Our current Office Assistant will be starting her internship for school this fall- we are so sad to see her go!

Our busy, family-oriented chiropractic clinic is looking for a full time Chiropractic Office Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, outgoing, and positive. They are self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks at once. Additionally, the candidate should take instruction well, be comfortable with change, and be willing to assist where needed. Most importantly, they should possess the ability to work independently and as a team player.

Job duties include:
• Assisting with patient flow, scheduling, and maintaining EHR system
• Cleaning
• Verify insurance benefits
• Answering phones
• Typing/computer literacy
• Communicating with insurance companies, assisting with billing as needed
• Opening/Closing clinic
• Filing/Organizing

Training will be provided by current staff. Chiropractic/healthcare background is preferred, but not required. Front desk reception/office experience is preferred. The ability to help cover for other staff members when ill or on vacation is appreciated.

34-36 hours per week, 7:45-5 M-F (1 day off a week will be discussed, but must be able to work Mondays). Earned sick and safe time, employee discount.

WE ARE CLOSED TODAY! IT'S GRANDMA'S WEEKEND!

This weekend, if you see any of these shirts around, cheer extra loud! There will be 90+ runners participating in memory of Dr. Ellison's brother, who passed away 09/04/24 as a result of arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy. He loved running and fitness in general, so this will be a wonderful way to honor him!

Good luck to everyone running the 5K today- including Dr. Larson!!!
