Congratulations, Lauren! Evergreen is excited to share some wonderful news about one of our leadership team members. Lauren has officially passed her board exams and is now our Assisted Living Director! We are so proud of her dedication and commitment to our residents. On September 30th, staff and residents came together to celebrate her achievement with ice cream cake.

Leslie from our kitchen staff hosted a fall welcome-sign craft, and the residents had a wonderful time creating their own pieces. They’re already looking forward to more art activities in the future. Thank you, Leslie, for your creativity and hard work!

This month, we welcomed our favorite therapy dog in training, Suri! She delighted our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents by showing off her training skills. As always, Suri brought smiles to everyone’s faces and kept her playful energy going the entire visit.

Evergreen welcomed a new music group last week, much to the delight of our residents. To their surprise, 'The Deviled Eggs' turned out to be six talented women—not a food event! The group engaged the residents with shaker eggs and fun music. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and we can’t wait to welcome 'The Deviled Eggs' back again soon!

At Evergreen’s last party, one lucky resident won the chance to plan an event alongside our Activities Coordinator. They chose to host a fun ice cream social, perfectly named “Yummy in the Tummy.” With the help of three fellow residents and our wonderful kitchen staff, the afternoon was filled with sweet treats and laughter. There was also ice cream–themed trivia with prizes! A big thank-you to our residents for their creativity and hard work, and to our kitchen team for helping make the social such a success.

Bethlehem Lutheran Drama Camp visited Evergreen to put on a play for the residents. The youth group sang, danced and acted out songs. The residents enjoyed their energy and the Drama Camp's performance. We look forward to the Bethlehem Lutheran Drama Camp coming back in the future!

Doug and Cindy visited Evergreen on July 24th to perform for our two Care Suites and Assistant Living. The residents were very excited to have them come, clapping and singing along to the songs. All groups had a great time with Doug's performance and talking to Cindy between songs. We appreciate Doug and Cindy for performing for all our residents and making it an enjoyable afternoon!
