This is my number one plant ally! Skullcap is revitalizing to the nervous system- toning and cooling of nerve pain and inflammation and anti-spasmodic to nerves and the muscles around them. Skullcap promotes sleep and emotional resilience, and is supportive in a grieving process. Skullcap eases hormonal issues during times of transition and can be helpful with cannabis addiction. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I personally am a HUGE fan of single herb tinctures! I’m a person with a lot going on, and with a lot of symptoms and a lot of different herbs and supplements and medicines going in, it can be pretty hard to tell what is doing what. I have an affinity for single herb tinctures because I feel like I am connecting with a friend or ally. I can hear them, and I can tap in to what they have to share or offer. Kind of like how I would prefer to spend an afternoon with one person than in a crowded restaurant where there is so much noise I can’t even hear the person next to me. I make formulations too, and I take them and I love them! But taking one herb at a time lets me build a relationship with a specific plant more deeply and that is really important to me in my life and my practice.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
