Six months out from surgery and still feeling pain, what could this mean?

For Luisa, it was simply soft tissue swelling! Soft tissue swelling is a normal, temporary part of the healing process after surgery, often caused by inflammation and fluid accumulation. It typically can be managed with gentle movement and medication.

Today, Luisa is completely pain free and back to living a full life following a complete knee replacement with Dr. Nazarian.

Do you know how accurate an MRI is at detecting a hip labral tear?

Dr. Kollmorgen collaborated with several orthopaedic colleagues on his most recent publication to determine the sensitivity and specificity of MRI and MRA in identifying labral tears in patients with dysplasia undergoing hip arthroscopy (HA) combined with periacetabular osteotomy (PAO).
