Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) refers to a phenomenon frequently observed in individuals with ADHD that describes an intense vulnerability to the perceived threat of rejection, criticism, or failure.
We need to understand that this can be an unbearable intense experience that shuts down function and will impact our students ability to learn .

In this weeks post we’ll explore why students with ADHD may struggle with rejection, what it looks like in the classroom, and how it impacts participation and performance and offer practical strategies to support these students effectively.

A few updates!
1. We have our zoning determination/clearance locked in!
2. We have passed an initial preliminary inspection completed by the Fire Marshal. We will have a formal inspection completed soon!
3. We are getting ready to start renovations on our building! We will be adding skylights to increase the natural light in the building, adding a LARGE window to our "gym"/active play space, and expanding the current number of restrooms.
