Today is the last day to nominate kids in need for our Cops & Kids Christmas shopping event. All nominations must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. today, December 5th, through the online form. The form will automatically turn off at 5, and we will not accept late nominations.

Eligible children meet all of the following criteria:

🏡 Children currently residing in Clovis, New Mexico, or the surrounding area,
🚼 Be between the ages of 3 and 13 years old at the time of nomination, not day of the event,
🎁 Whose families are experiencing financial hardship, and/or who may otherwise not be able to purchase gifts for their child or children this holiday season, and
🆕 Have not been selected for Cops & Kids Christmas in the previous year

With Christmas approaching and deliveries ramping up, we need your help to keep porch pirates.

Here are a few quick tips to protect your packages:

📦 Track Your Deliveries: Know exactly when your package is arriving.

📦 Use Secure Delivery Locations: Opt for in-store pickup, or use a lockbox.

📦 Enlist a Neighbor: Ask a trusted neighbor to grab packages if you won't be home.

📦 Report Suspicious Activity: If you see someone lurking or taking packages, call us immediately!

Don't let a Grinch ruin your day. Let's work together to make sure your deliveries end up in your hands. Stay safe, OKC!

Our thoughts & Prayers are with the West Virginia National Guard, their families & the Family of Army Spc. Beckstrom during this difficult time. May God comfort their Families & everyone in WV✝️

The Men & Women of Eastern Plains Lodge #11 FOP want to extend their condolences to All their fellow Brothers & Sisters in West Virginia on the loss of 20-year-old Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom who succumb to her injuries after being ambushed yesterday in D.C. May she they Rest In Peace & may God comfort her Families, blood and Blue & All her Fellow WV LEO Brothers & Sisters✝️. Also praying for the Air Guard member, 24-year-old U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe that was also shot.

Amid parades, shared meals, and family gatherings, thousands of officers are still out there, watching over neighborhoods, helping strangers, and keeping our communities safe.
Today and every day, we honor the men and women in blue and the families who miss them at the table for the sacrifices they make so we can celebrate safely. We are grateful for those who serve and for those who wait for them to come home.
