Mental Health Resources is a nonprofit providing compassionate and accessible mental health care in Clovis, Portales, Tucumcari & Ft. The need for mental health and substance use services in eastern New Mexico prompted action by the staff of Eastern New Mexico University in the early 1970s. When the New Mexico Mental Health Act was passed in 1975, the Resource Center was reorganized as a private non-profit agency resulting in the birth of Mental Health Resources, Inc. At various times in its history, Mental Health Resources, Inc. has provided services in as many as seven counties in eastern New Mexico. Currently, five counties (Curry, Roosevelt, Quay, DeBaca, and Harding) are served from three offices in Clovis, Portales, and Tucumcari. MHR is a safe space for all.

🎄✨ WOW what a night! Thank you, Clovis! ✨🎄

Mental Health Resources had an incredible time participating in this year’s Christmas Lights Parade with our Nightmare Before Christmas–themed float! Our team poured weeks of creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit into bringing this idea to life and seeing the community’s smiles made every minute worth it.

A huge, big, gigantic THANK YOU to everyone who helped build, create, decorate, and walk beside the float. You help represent MHR with pride! Your dedication shows what it means to support our communities not only through our services, but through connection, joy, and showing up TOGETHER.
