Yesterday, our leadership team had the opportunity to celebrate Grace Yearick, Director of Urgent Cares and Occupational Health, as she prepares to retire this month after nearly 29 years with HRMC.

Grace began her career here in 1997 as an RN in the Emergency Department and has served in many clinical and leadership roles in urgent care throughout the years. Her dedication and steady leadership have made such a meaningful impact on our teams and the patients we serve. 💙

We are incredibly grateful for Grace’s many years of service and were glad to take a moment to recognize her this week.

Please join us in wishing her all the best in retirement! ✨

Blue crew, week 3. 💙

Our Haywood team is back at it for Wear Blue Wednesdays in recognition of Colon Cancer Awareness Month, because when it comes to screening, we want this on your radar.

A friendly reminder from your favorite folks in blue: don’t delay your colonoscopy. It could save your life.

Talk to your primary care provider about when it’s time to get screened. Need a provider? Call 800.424.DOCS or visit haywoodmedicalgroup.com today.

Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most diagnosed cancer in the US. But the good news is there are more than 1.5 million survivors of colorectal cancer in the United States. Because colorectal cancer is preventable with screening. Colorectal cancer doesn't always show symptoms—that's why it's so important to get screened. If you're 45 or older, it's time to get screened. Find any potential warning signs of colon cancer early, when treatment is most effective. Talk to your provider about scheduling your colonoscopy.
