Stress is more than a feeling—it affects how your body functions every day. When stress is high, it can impact food noise, blood sugar balance, sleep quality, and motivation, making habits feel harder than they need to be.

When cortisol (your stress hormone) stays elevated, your body may:
🔥 Crave quick sugar or comfort foods
🔥 Hold on to fat more easily
🔥 Feel more inflamed or sluggish
🔥 Struggle with restful sleep

The good news? Small, intentional habits can help you create more moments of calm in your daily life.

Supportive habits to focus:
🩷Get a massage, food detox or book a raindrop session
🧘 Deep breathing or journaling
🚶 Light movement or a short walk
💤 A consistent bedtime routine

But feeling capable is different.

Get up off the floor without hesitation.
Travel, play, work, and live without your body constantly negotiating with you.

That’s strength.

Fragility shows up quietly.
Low energy.
Aching joints.
Avoiding things you used to do because they feel harder now.

Train so your body feels dependable.
Eat in a way that supports resilience.
Selfcare is important ♥️

There’s something sacred about this room, especially after these last few months of sessions on clients.

Comfy sheets.
Music softly soothing in the background.
The energy… calm.

I’ve watched bodies and energies shift.

🌿 One client walked in with shoulder and back pain… and walked out without it.
🌿 Another came in hurting in several areas and left greatly relieved.
🌿 Another friend just needed to breathe -- stress melted, nervous system reset, she slept soundly that night for the first time in a while.
🌿 Two clients were so relaxed they fell asleep on my table while I was working on them 😴

Sore muscles from workouts.

Built-up tension from life.

Stress we don’t even realize we’re carrying.

The body is designed to heal. Sometimes it just needs the right environment and right tools to help it do what it already knows how to do.

We train hard.

We push through.

We handle a lot.

But self-care is part of that strength too. 💚

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do isn’t push harder.

It’s allow ourselves to RECEIVE care.
