Just a reminder to all of us on the CR Journey. We will meet at 5:30 for dinner, as usual. Then we will have open share. Our large group will be supporting the Fusion outreach movie "Why the Nativity" for our large group, instead of the usual.

Thank you to the many people who know me and care about me and recognized that I turned 70 yesterday. I am very thankful to have made it to 70 for many reasons, and hope to live to be 100 if I can be a contributor.

My family history had most of the males in a couple of generations dying well younger than 70, My health had been challenged for a number of years due to a botched gall bladder surgery, and I almost died from multiple pulmonary emboli due to the COVID-19 3rd vaccine.

Most people who know me also know I completed a Master's in counseling in 2021, but due to health issues I did not accept employment as a limited permit counselor to earn the qualifying hours to be a fully licensed therapist until last August. I expect to complete those hours by some time in October.

I have been blessed to lead the Celebrate Recovery ministry at Fusion Community Church for the past few years. It is amazing when God turns addiction into victorious living. I have dropped almost 200 pounds, myself.

All things considered, the sentiment of Joe Mazzula when the Celtics earned their 18th championship is my 70th Birthday thought as well. Again thank you to the many people who wished me a happy birthday!
