Thursday, Bleckley Memorial Hospital participated in our Region’s Medical Response Surge Exercise. We had multiple agencies respond to a mock Mass Casualty Incident involving pediatrics. EMS, County and City Fire, and the Sheriff’s Department worked together to sort through injured children and get them to the hospital for further treatment. Bleckley Memorial Hospital staff were ready and waiting to handle this surge in patients. Through continued education with Kids ABC, we were able to have a simulation lab on site to practice these disaster scenarios with the ER Staff. With this yearly exercise, our county is able to recognize strengths and weaknesses to further prepare us for a potential real life disaster. Thank you to all that participated, especially our actors.

We are thrilled to announce that Bleckley Memorial Hospital is expanding our services! Starting Tuesday, March 10, 2026, we will begin offering Outpatient Infusion Therapy.

Our goal is to provide high-quality, patient centered care right here at home. This new service offers a convenient and comfortable option for those requiring IV medications or infusion treatments-no hospital admission required.
